No otter at Low Barns

Visitors to Low Barns reserve have been reporting regular otter sightings on the main lake and west lake for several weeks.
I decided to give some time to trying to see the elusive beast.
I have been to the reserve early in the morning three times this week for 3 hour watching sessions and guess what - no otter.

However I have had some great views of other wildlife including close up views of  Wren and Great Spotted Woodpecker and also the sight of a Little Grebe and Kingfisher fishing in the same place at the same time and both catching fish.
