Wet September

We have had a very wet start to September with a lot of heavy rain.

Wolsingham Show was a washout. Kenneth's Bridge at Frosterley was badly damaged by a Willow tree washed down in the floods. Low Bat Reserve was flooded, although the willow spiling held out! A huge Willow ended up wedged against the piles of the Bridge over the Wear at Croxdale.

There were spectacular seas at Seaham following the NE gales.
